Assets from three separate sectors namely catering, transport and construction, as well as engineering machinery, will be sold on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday by Consolidated Auction Group.
Germiston’s biggest auction center, if not the biggest in Gauteng, will be the location for the first disposal on the 28th.
A class act of catering items will be hammered home at this sale, and bargain hunters can also expect an eclectic array of furniture.
“It’s big!” says Chico da Silva, the inveterate auctioneer and founder of Consolidated.
“It may not necessarily be a big-ticket disposal, but it’s nonetheless a dynamic draw card for buyers in the market for unbeatable prices.”
The next day, 28 October, Consolidated will, however, officiate over a “big-ticket auction” when it brings a massive haul of super-haulers to the market.
Bidders keen on cutting down on cost for construction and transport assets, “ good, bank-repossessed, low-milers”, will have to head on down to Ermelo for this one.
“But we guarantee 100% satisfaction in terms of volume, variety, and value for money. The financial institutions that have entrusted these forfeited assets to us, has placed a high premium on duly circulating it back into the market.”
Late-model mechanical horses, side-tippers, rigid diesel tankers, drawbar trailers, implements, drop-side and volume trucks, LDVs, crew buses, forklifts and construction items “must all go!”
The next day Da Silva will be back in action at Consolidated’s nerve center for an engineering and hardware sale, and again the list of lots is quite impressive.
That’s three in a row: catering and furniture on the 27th at 10 President Street in Germiston; trucks and plant machinery on the 28th in Ermelo, and engineering and hardware assets back in Germiston, at the same address as above, on the 29th.
At the time of going to press the company also anticipated imminently confirming a woodworking machine sale on the 4th of November.
“We want to see the year out with a bang!” Da Silva said.
