Machinery and assets stemming from the liquidation of a woodworking and furniture manufacturing concern are set to go under Park Village Auctions’ hammer on Tuesday, July 4.

LeRoy Augustyn of PVA says that while assets of this nature will appeal to a niche sector of the market, the packing and office equipment on offer should appeal to a broader market.

All assets will be sold piecemeal by way of public auction at 183 South Rand Road, Tulisa Park, Johannesburg South.

Among the equipment to be auctioned comprises Michael Weinig moulding machines, a Brandt Edge bander, Atlas GA 37, GA 237 and GA 22 compressors, Weeke Optimat BP 120, BHC 350/550 and Biesse Rover CNC machining centres, a Selco EB 80 Beam saw, an SCM 29 router, Donald Fuchs surface planers, spindle and shaping machines, coating stations, wide-belt sanders, an Altendorf panel saw, extractors, rip saws and router machines.

When & where

_ The auction commences at 10:30am and viewing will take place on the 3rd from 10am-3pm. “Assets of this nature requires large capital outlay when bought new, and we are certain that those in the woodworking industry will welcome the opportunity to purchase these items at a fraction of their usual cost”, concludes Augustyn
