    Bernardi’s uncatalogued Decorator’s and Collector’s auction will take place tomorrow, April 14, at 10am.

    The sale off ers a variety of collectables, furniture, interesting curiosities and artworks from sets of dining and occasional chairs to Persian and Near Eastern carpets to porcelain, brass and copperwares, glass and crystal, table lamps and chandeliers.

    Some features are an HMV portable gramophone, a large Modellers of Antique Furniture mahogany book case together with a mahogany and leather reception desk and matching partner’s desk, a six-piece Victorian walnut salon suite and Tudor and Louis style dining chairs.

    South African art includes works by Rob MacIntosh, Louis Albertyn, Guiseppe Catt aruzza, Andre Daniel, At Botha, John Brunsdon, Jana du Toit, Reg Gratt an, Michael Maapola, Este Mostert, Thij s Nel, Barbara Ploner, Richard Rennie, Elias Sewape and Martin Wenkidu.

    For toy enthusiasts, there is a Firechief pedal car, Barbie dolls and clothes, a Triang Rocket wagon, a Victorian curlicue dolls pram and a German Armand- Marseilles socket-head doll.
