A bushveld farm of just more than 600 hectares, will be offered on auction upon instructions from a financial institution by Van’s Auctioneers on Friday, May 24.
The farm falls with the Rooiberg Bewaria, north of the town of Rooiberg in Limpopo. It has good improvements and is ideal as a weekend getaway farm or for more permanent farming.
The improvements include three houses, two swimming pools, garages and parking areas. The farm also has sheds, stores and covered areas, a sheep-rearing shed, meat-handling facilities and a cold room.
The roads are well kept and in good condition, and the farm has about 14km of roads on the fence and about 14km inner roads. It is game fenced 2.4m high and with 22 to 24 strands.
Eskom electricity is available, and water is supplied by three boreholes of which one is equipped with a submersible pump. The farm also has a stream, four earth dams and three concrete dams with watering points for game.
With a split between mountainous and sand veld, there is lots of grazing land.
The farm has an abundance of bird life, and also features a large variety of indigenous trees including sweet thorn, red ivory, brown ivory and red bush willow.
From Rooiberg, follow the gravel road north for about 14km and turn right on Modimolle Road. Go through the boom and the farm entrance is 13km further on the right.
People interested should contact the auctioneers to arrange for viewing.
