    There will be something for every pocket at Bernardi Auctioneers Decorators and Collectors Sale tomorrow at their gallery in Pretoria.

    The sale features an eclectic mix of collectables ranging from a large selection of Delft blue & white porcelain, Royal Albert tea sets, a 165-piece Rosenthal Maria Green tea, mocha & dinner service, and seven scarce avant-garde pieces of Rosenthal Porcelain Noire Plattinebbel designed by Helmut Dresler are sure to enhance any interior display.

    This will be followed by Electroplate, Brass & Copper-wares, including a Carol Boyes laidback chip and dip stand, crystal and glassware, not to mention a Swarovski Magic of the Dance figurine.

    Curiosities such as Salters Kitchen scales and grinders, a vintage Pierre Cardin snakeskin clutch bag and a pair of Swarovski Optik 8×56 binoculars will also feature.

    Some 77 lots of furniture and embellishments will also come under the hammer, from a Georgian mahogany 12-drawer low-boy chest to a handsome American walnut The Shannon Sheriff’s Roll-Top Desk.

    Also featured are Regency style rocking armchairs, 19th Century French walnut Rococo-style 3-door wardrobe, bedstead with mattress and night stands, library cabinets, teak-wood dining suite, cocktail and display cabinets, a ladies’ writing desk, library and occasional chairs, Cape stinkwood rusbanke, mirrors and a large Continental romantic Petit-Point tapestry.

    The sale will conclude with Decorative and South African artworks.

    Viewing is today from 10am to 5pm and morning of the sale.
