Warehouse goes under hammer

    Warehouse goes under hammer

Park Village Auctions will bring to the market a large Alberton-based industrial warehouse, A-grade offices and contents on Tuesday.

PVA’s LeRoy Augustyn says the assets on sale stem from an aluminium frame and window manufacturing concern, currently in business rescue.

“PVA’s business rescue division specialises in selling businesses experiencing difficulties. Most businesses sold under this banner are simply in need of a capital injection or restructuring to continue operating and represent a great opportunity for investors.”

Located at 20A Dan Jacobs Street, Alrode Extension 2, Alrode, the property comprises a large double-storey industrial warehouse with a reception and foyer, open plan offices, offices, boardroom and meeting rooms, storerooms, server room, cloakrooms, staff kitchens and entertainment area and balcony.

At the back is another warehouse fitted with double industrial roller garage doors together with ancillary offices and storerooms and staff toilets, covered parking for at least 21 vehicles with a further 10 open customer parking bays. This, Portion 1 of Erf 1467, measures 9 820m² in total.

Jaco du Toit, head of PVA’s property division says: “This multi-purpose property occupies a prominent position in one of Johannesburg’s most important industrial areas with quick access to arterial routes, including Swartkoppies Road, the R59 Sybrand van Niekerk highway and the N3 highway.”

Under the dual-banner of movables and equipment, on offer is an Elumatec A7221/01 double head cut-off saw, a De Walt cut-off saw with Elektra Beckum Stand, an Elumatec cut-off saw with stand, a punch/press Rousselle with a stand, an Elumatec 06244-E580/5 double headed saw and SBZ122 aluminium profile CNC Machine with control panel, a Rexon DP-330F press drill, and a variety of electric tools.

Vehicles, consisting of an Isuzu FVM 1200 with a crane, single and double cab LDV’s, an Iveco Daily 50C15V16, and a Hyster 3.0 Forklift will make up the last lots for the day.
